Dr. Sachin Kumar Mangla

Dr. Sachin K Mangla. He is working as a Faculty of Knowledge Management and Business Decision Making, University of Plymouth, United Kingdom. His research is in the field of Green and Sustainable Supply Chain and Operations; Industry 4.0; Circular Economy; Decision Making and Modelling. He has a teaching experience of more than five years in Supply Chain and Operations Management and Decision Making, and currently associated in teaching with various universities in UK, Turkey, India, China, France, etc. He has published/presented several papers in repute international/national journals (International Journal of Production Economics; International Journal of Production Research; Production Planning and Control; Business Strategy and the Environment; Journal of Cleaner Production; Annals of Operations Research; Transportation Research Part – D etc. He is involved in editing couple of Special issues as a Guest Editor in Production Planning & Control, Annals of Operations Research, Journal of Resource Policy, Journal of Cleaner Production etc. Currently, he is also involved in several research projects on various issues and applications of Circular Economy and Sustainability. Among them, he is responsible for the knowledge-based decision models in “Enhancing and implementing knowledge-based ICT solutions within high risk and uncertain conditions for agriculture production systems (RUC-APS)”, European Commission RISE scheme, €1.3M. Recently, he has also received a grant as a PI from British Council – Newton Fund Research Environment Links Turkey/UK – Circular and Industry 4.0 driven sustainable solutions for reducing food waste in supply chains in Turkey. He is also working with USERC (Uttarakhand Science Education & Research Centre), Govt of Uttarakhand, India for managing food waste in the Circular Economy. Award of Excellence in Research: Dr. Sampad Kumar Panda

Dr. Sampad Kumar Panda is currently working as an Associate Professor in the Department of Electronics and Communications Engineering, KL Deemed to be University, Andhra Pradesh, India. He earned his Ph.D. degree from the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay in 2015 in the areas of GNSS Remote Sensing of Space weather. He also holds Postdoctoral experience from Frederick University, Cyprus. Prior to his Ph.D., he completed M. Tech. in Remote Sensing and GIS and M.Sc. in Physics- Electronics. He received the “Best Teacher Award” at his present institute during the academic year 2019-20 and the “Award of Excellence in Research” from Novel Research Academy in 2021. His research
interests include but are not limited to Space Physics and Remote Sensing, GNSS, Ionospheric Scintillations and mitigations, Ionospheric Radio Occultation applications, etc. He published more than 50 research articles and acts as reviewer in about 40 journals. Currently, he is implementing a sponsored project on scintillation mitigations in GNSS signals. He established a PolaRx5S Real-time Ionosphere monitoring GNSS Reference Station since April-2021. He is a member of IEEE-GRSS and a life member of Indian Society of Remote Sensing, Indian Society of Geomatics and Indian Radio Science Society.

Dr. Hitesh Panchal obtained his Ph.D. in Solar Thermal Engineering in 2015 from KSV University Gandhinagar, Gujarat, India. He is currently working as Assistant Professor in Mechanical Engineering Department in Government Engineering College Patan. Dr. Panchal has published 150 plus Research papers in reputed International Journal publications like Taylor and Francis, Springer, Elsevier, ASME, etc., and received 6000 plus Google scholar citations with H index 51 and I10 index 154. Dr. Panchal obtained 28 prestigious awards includes Tech GURU Award, Pedagogical Innovation Award, SSIP Prashansha Award, Preeminent Researcher Award, Best Ph.D. Thesis Award, Young Scientist Award, Bright Researchers Award, and many more. Dr. Panchal has completed 2 Research projects from GUJCOST and SYST, DST, and currently working on a Research project under STEM grant, Education Department, Government of Gujarat. Dr Panchal filed 26 Full patents and 14 Industrial designs, and among them, 2 full patents and 10 industrial designs had granted. Dr. Kishore Debnath

Dr. Debnath completed his bachelor’s and master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from NIT’s. He completed his Ph.D. from IIT Roorkee in 2015 in the ever-challenging and intrinsically encompassing field of manufacturing of composite materials. He started his career as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering of NIT Meghalaya in 2015. His commendable efforts and dependable diligence shadowed with a rich blend of dynamism in the domain spanning research have enabled him to publish more than 100 technical manuscripts in peer-reviewed journals and proceedings or bound volumes culminating from conferences. His systematic and methodical execution of the intrinsic intricacies pertinent to his research has enabled him to compile 24 technical manuscripts that have been included as chapters in books published and put forth by internationally renowned publishers namely Elsevier, Springer, Wiley, Woodhead, CRC Press, etc. His current research is focused in the area of conceptualization and development of biodegradable composites and manufacturing methods. He was honored with the prestigious ‘Excellent Research Contribution Award’ award on the occasion of Institute Day of NIT Meghalaya on 1st April 2019.

Dr. Sunil Chamoli

Dr. Sunil Chamoli completed his Ph.D. from NIT Hamirpur, India in the year 2014 and completed his Postdoctoral research at the Southern University of Science and Technology, China. He is working as an Assistant Professor in the Mechanical Engineering Department at Govind Ballabh Pant Institute of Engineering and Technology, Pauri Garhwal Uttarakhand, India. His major area of research includes heat transfer, heat storage, CFD, and optimization. He has published many research articles in top-notch journals and conferences. He was awarded the excellence research award in 2021 by Shri Pushkar Singh Dhami (Chief Minister of Uttarakhand). His name is included in the top 2% scientist list since its inception. He has guided many post-graduate and Ph.D. students.

Dr. Md Irfanul Haque Siddiqui

Dr. Md Irfanul Haque Siddiqui is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, King Saud University, Riyadh. Previously, he worked as a Research Scientist at the Institute for High Technology Materials and Devices, Korea University, Seoul, South Korea. He was working on POSCO Steel projects, in the field of ironmaking and steelmaking. He worked as a Research Professor at Korea University, Seoul and Assistant Professor at Aligarh Muslim University, India. He has experience of research work at Kyungpook National University, Daegu, South Korea, and Cummins India Limited, Pune. He holds a postgraduate (2011) and doctorate degree (2016) in mechanical engineering from the IIT Roorkee, India. Mr. Yusuf Parvez

Yusuf Parvez is working as a Lecturer in Mechanical Engineering of Maulana Azad National Urdu University, Cuttack Campus, India. Prior to that he worked as an Assistant Professor in MAE Department of Indira Gandhi Delhi Technical University for Women, Delhi, India. He received his M.Tech. degree from IIT Delhi with specialization in Energy Systems and B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh. He has supervised many UG and PG students in the field of Renewable Energy, Alternative Fuels, Thermal Engineering, and Automation. He has published various papers in International Journals and Conferences of high repute. Based on his research articles, he has received many invitations for expert lectures and session chairs in international conferences. Presently, he is working on the performance improvements of Solar Photovoltaic modules using various cooling techniques such as Thermoelectric cooling (TECs), Phase Change Materials (PCMs) and enhancing the heat transfer through natural convection. He has granted one patent on “Wind Energy Concentrator” by Indian Patent Office, GoI. Also, another few patents have been filed which are under consideration.

Dr. Ambrish Maurya

Dr. Ambrish Maurya is working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at National Institute of Technology Patna, Bihar, India. Prior to joining as Assistant Professor in NIT Patna in the year 2020, he also served as Assistant Professor at SRM University, Ghaziabad and Amity University, Noida respectively. He has a teaching experience of more than 5 years and during his academic career, he has guided several Master’s Thesis and B. Tech. projects and presently he is also guiding eight Ph.D. scholars. Dr. Maurya has completed his Master of Technology in Production and Industrial Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee in 2010. He carried out his Ph.D. research at the Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee in the area of physical and mathematical modeling of continuous casting process of steelmaking, during 2012 – 2017. He earns immense respect among the researchers working in the domain of process modelling studies in continuous casting, owing to novel and impactful research contributions in that domain, the most recent being use of magneto- hydrodynamic applications in continuous casting. He also has research expertise in the area of processing and fabrication of metal matrix composite, polymer composites, solder material, advanced casting technologies, computational fluid dynamics, and solar energy. Dr. Maurya has published more than 30 research articles and book chapters in international journals and

Dr. Farhad Ilahi Bakhsh

Dr. Farhad Ilahi Bakhsh (Senior Member, IEEE) received B. Tech degree in
Electrical Engineering and M. Tech. degree in Power Systems & Drives from Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), Aligarh, India in 2010 and 2012, respectively. Then he pursued Ph.D. from the Indian Institute of Technology in Roorkee, India in 2017. During his Ph.D. he developed a new method for grid integration for wind energy generation system which has been recognized worldwide. He served as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical & Renewable Energy Engineering, School of Engineering & Technology, Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University, Rajouri, J & K, India. Dr. Mohammad Ehtisham Khan presently working as an Assistant Professor and Head of the Department in Chemical Engineering Technology at Jazan University, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Dr. Khan obtained PhD in Chemical Engineering from Yeungnam University, the Republic of Korea. He is working in the cutting-edge area of nanosciences and nanotechnology, especially inorganic materials, such as, the fabrication of metal-metal oxides and carbon-based nanostructures for various novel applications in the field of energy, environment, and biological applications, The fabricated nanostructured materials effectively applied for the catalysis, photocatalysis, photoelectrodes, optoelectronic devices, hydrogen production, sensing, and selected biological applications. Dr. Mir Irfan Ul Haq

Mir Irfan Ul Haq is an Assistant Professor at the School of Mechanical Engineering, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University, Katra, JK, India. He previously worked at the R&D wing of Mahindra and Mahindra. His research interests include lightweight materials, new product development
and additive manufacturing, development of green lubricants, self-lubricating materials and cutting fluids, mechanical testing of composites, friction, and wear of materials, and surface engineering. He is actively involved in teaching and research for the past nine years in the field of materials, tribology, and 3D printing. Irfan Ul Haq has published more than fifty research papers in reputed journals, edited three books, and served on the editorial boards ofmultiple journals with more than 1500 citations and h-index of 20 and i-10 index of 32. He has served as special issue editor and reviewer board of various international journals.He is a recipient of research grants from funding agencies affiliated with the Government of India: Department of Science and Technology (DST) and All India Council for Technical Education. Dr. Nemat Ali has earned his MS and Ph.D. in Toxicology from Jamia Hamdard, New Delhi, India. Currently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology at the College of Pharmacy King Saud University, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Before
joining King Saud University worked as a Post-Doctoral Scholar in the School of Medicine, University of Kentucky, Lexington, USA. Where our research aims and objectives were to see the role of small G-proteins in various diseases. Currently involved in teaching, research, and research is mainly focused on finding the molecular mechanisms involved in cancer chemoprevention and chemotherapy-induced vital organ toxicity and their prevention using natural and synthetic compounds using in-vivo and in-vitro models. Dr. Ali has been acting as an Associate Editor in several reputed publication houses (Frontiers, Plos, Springer nature and serving as guest editor for special issues of different journals (MDPI). Dr. Ali has published more than 60 papers in international journals and his work has been cited more than 1900 times. Dr. Ali is the principal investigator and co-principal investigator on several research grants.

Mr. Md Shahid Alam

Md Shahid Alam, Hailing from Munger, a small town in Bihar India, a first-
generation learner, after my schooling in my hometown, I completed my graduation in Biochemistry from Aligarh Muslim University (AMU). For my Master, with an all-India rank of 30, I moved to the Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee (IIT Roorkee) where I completed my MS Degree in Biotechnology, in the following year with an all-India rank of 27, I qualified NET and Junior Research Fellowship too. Presently, I am a final year Ph.D.
student in the Department of Biosciences and Bioengineering at the IIT Roorkee. Recently, I submitted my Ph.D. thesis. My broad area of research is Structure-Based Drug Design. I use computational, biochemical, and biophysical techniques to study protein and drug interactions. I have published my research papers in peer-reviewed reputed International
Journals and published book chapter too. I have participated and presented my research works in International Conferences and Seminars based on the outcomes of my study.

Er. Maqusud Alam

I am Maqusud Alam, a Ph.D. student at Kyungpook National University, Daegu, South Korea. I hold an M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh, India, As a postgraduate student, I have a background in studying the impact of electromagnetic forces on molten steel in the continuous casting process using ANSYS Fluent. I possess both theoretical and practical knowledge, having worked with software such as ANSYS Fluent, Open FOAM, and Python, and have received hands-on training in metallurgical operations and characterization techniques. My research interests include computational fluid dynamics, Magnetohydrodynamics, Steelmaking, Continuous casting, and Energy harvesting based on flapping foils. I was awarded a scholarship by the Ministry of Human Resource Department of India.

Dr. Mohammad Aamir

Dr. Mohd Aamir is presently working as an Assistant Professor of Civil Engineering at Imam Mohammad Ibn Saud Islamic University, Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. He obtained his Doctorate in Civil Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee. His research interests include scour around hydraulic structures, sediment transport, open channel hydraulics, wall jets, and river training works. He graduated in First Class Honours from Aligarh Muslim University, and obtained his Masters, also in First Class Honours, from IIT Roorkee. He also has field research experience, working as Project Fellow to undertake Hydraulic Model Studies on the under-construction 10-km-long, 6-lane extradosed bridge over Ganga river in Patna, Bihar. He has published a number of Research Papers in reputed high-impact peer-reviewed International Journals, and also presented in Conferences in India and abroad. He is recipient of the prestigious Jal Vigyan Puraskar 2015, awarded by the Indian Society for Hydraulics, for the Best Paper published in ISH Journal of Hydraulic Engineering.

Chemical Engineering at National Institute of Technology (NIT) Srinagar from 2020. Since, 2016, she was working as a Trainee Faculty at NIT Srinagar, while simultaneously doing her PhD at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi. Dr. Fatima received a gold medal in B.Tech Chemical Engineering from NIT Srinagar in 2015. She is a recipient of the Gandhian Young Technological Award. She also received International Travel Grant from the Science and Engineering Board. She works in the area of computational catalysis, specifically on understanding transformations of hydrocarbons using ab initio microkinetic modeling. She has explored a number of reactions – biogas reforming, hydrodeoxygenation, non-oxidative dehydrogenation, CO 2 assisted oxidative dehydrogenation of ethane employing microkinetic modeling, and density functional theory calculations, which have been published in reputed journals. Besides research and teaching, she spends time in reading, photography, and writing.

Presently, Dr. Huma Khatoon is practicing in Roorkee, City. She is an expert in regimental therapy especially in cupping therapy. She has done Bachelor of Unani Medicine and Surgery from Jamia Hamdard University, New Delhi. She also serves as In-House Surgeon at Majeedia Hospital, New Delhi.

Er. Yogesh N. Aher

Mr. Yogesh N. Aher has obtained his B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in Chemistry from the University of Pune, Maharashtra, India. Thereafter, he joined CSIR-IICT Hyderabad as a junior project assistant for a duration of 2 years (2018-2020). Afterward, he joined the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Mandi, India, as a Ph.D. scholar with Dr. Amit B. Pawar in February 2020 and is currently in the final year of his Ph.D. His research work is on the synthesis of the heterocyclic scaffold by using the CH Activation strategy under transition metal catalysis. His other interests include playing and watching cricket, trekking, and cycling.
